Chevron.

I worked with Chevron over the course of two years creating two, one of a kind, immersive experiences. The first of which was a live-action, Virtual Reality experience that was filmed on the remote Jack St. Malo oil platform 280 miles off the southern most point of Louisiana.

I also lead the creation of the AR Barrow Island interactive event installation that was used to educate oil and gas conference attendees about Chevron’s commitment to providing energy responsibly while protecting and preserving natural environments. The iPad AR experience showcases Chevron’s Gorgon Project, a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project that operates within the Barrow Island nature reserve, as a perfect case study of energy and environment coexisting in Western Australia. The AR app encourages users to explore the island to discover how one of the world’s largest natural gas projects successfully coexists with this unique environment while helping power the Asia Pacific region.

Live-action, VR film of the Jack St. Malo platform.

Chevron is frequently put into contact with policymakers and government officials and needed a way to demonstrate the scale of their industry. I concept and directed this immersive VR experience that would help increase transparency between the company and policymakers on Capitol Hill by providing an insider’s view of Chevron’s signature deepwater oil platform, Jack St. Malo.
